FAQ – RediffMailPro

Rediffmail Pro is an advanced email service provided by Rediff.com, offering robust features like high security, ample storage, spam filtering, and compatibility with various email clients. It is designed for both personal and professional use.

To view your Rediffmail Pro emails:
1. Log in to your Rediffmail Pro account through the web interface.
2. Navigate through your inbox and other folders to view your emails.

To set a signature:
1. Go to ‘Settings’ in your Rediffmail Pro account.
2. Navigate to the ‘Signature’ settings.
3. Create your signature using the editor provided.
4. Save the changes.

To take a backup of your Rediffmail Pro account, you can use an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird to download and store your emails locally. Configure your Rediffmail Pro account with these clients using POP3/IMAP settings, then export the emails.

Yes, you can configure multiple MX records for redundancy and load balancing. Ensure that the priority values are set correctly, with the lowest number indicating the highest priority.

To add an image to your signature:
1. Go to the ‘Settings’ in your Rediffmail Pro account.
2. Navigate to the ‘Signature’ settings.
3. Use the HTML editor to insert an image by uploading it or linking it from a URL.

To change POP3 settings:
1. Go to ‘Settings’ in your Rediffmail Pro account.
2. Navigate to ‘Email Settings’.
3. Update the POP3 settings as required, including the server address and port numbers.

To check your storage usage:
1. Log in to your Rediffmail Pro account.
2. Go to ‘Settings’ and find the ‘Storage’ section.
3. It will display the used and available storage space.
Usually, the hosting providers warn you if you used the storage 70% of your purchased plan

To configure Outlook 2007:
1. Open Outlook and go to ‘Tools’ > ‘Account Settings’.
2. Click ‘New’ to add a new email account.
3. Enter your Rediffmail Pro email address and select ‘POP3’ or ‘IMAP’.
– Enter the incoming and outgoing server details: Incoming server (POP3/IMAP): pop.rediffmailpro.com / imap.rediffmailpro.com
– Outgoing server (SMTP): smtp.rediffmailpro.com
4. Complete the setup by entering your login credentials.

To create an email signature:
1. Go to ‘Settings’ in your Rediffmail Pro account.
2. Navigate to the ‘Signature’ settings.
3. Use the editor to create a signature, including your company details, logo, and any necessary links.
4. Save the changes.

To move emails from Rediffmail Pro to Gmail:
1. Configure both your Rediffmail Pro and Gmail accounts in an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird.
2. Drag and drop the emails from the Rediffmail Pro account to the Gmail account.

Unfortunately, Rediffmail Pro does not currently support the recall feature for sent emails. Once an email is sent, it cannot be retrieved or recalled.

To recover deleted emails:
1. Check the ‘Trash’ folder in your Rediffmail Pro account.
2. If the email is still in the ‘Trash’, you can move it back to your inbox.
3. If it has been permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.

To renew your Rediffmail Pro account:
1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to ‘Settings’ and find the ‘Subscription’ or ‘Account’ section.
3. Follow the instructions to renew your subscription.

To set a read receipt:
1. Compose a new email.
2. Before sending, select the option to request a read receipt.
3. This option may be found under ‘Options’ or ‘More Options’ depending on the email client you are using.

To reset your password:
1. Go to the Rediffmail Pro login page.
2. Click on ‘Forgot Password’.
3. Follow the instructions to reset your password using your recovery email or phone number.

To add DNS records on GoDaddy for RediffmailPro:
1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
2. Navigate to ‘Domain Management’.
3. Select your domain and go to the ‘DNS Zone File’ section.
4. Add the necessary DNS records (MX, CNAME, A) provided by RediffmailPro.
5. Save the changes and allow time for propagation.

RediffmailPro has policies regarding bulk email sending to prevent spam. Typically, sending limits may apply, and you should consult their support or documentation for specific limits. Consider using a dedicated email marketing service for bulk emails.

Recalling or deleting a sent email from the recipient’s inbox is generally not supported once the email is delivered. This feature is not typically available in RediffmailPro.
